Explain computer aided writing.

Computer are widely used by the majority of writers for their writing. Use of computer does not change the principles of good writing, but it does help to make writing task easier in many ways. Word processors like Microsoft’s Word makes tasks of writing, revising and editing a document easier. Clean copy of documented can be printed once it is revised and is error free. Unlike traditional type writers, several drafts of same document need not to be produced. The typed document can be previewed on the screen before printing on a paper. In fact computer assisted writing is more convent way to write than traditional type writers or pen and paper. Moreover, use of computer for writing can save time and labour.
Once the necessary keyboard skills are learnt, writing with computer can increase the speed of writing. Writer can write down whatever that comes in their mind, then revise the text and change the text as per their requirement. They can also take words out and put words in. Let us say after writing this paragraph I wanted to change the word “Computer” to “PC” it would be a lot of work if I was not using computer, because I would have to re-write all the text from top to bottom just to change that one word. In addition to that, writers using computer write rapidly, ignoring problems of precise phrasing during the creation of first draft. Whereas, writers using pen and paper are tempted to pause and try to get things “right” the first time through, because they know the labour of re-writing or re-typing. This interrupts the idea that flows in the writers mind. Thus, use of word-processors encourages smooth flow of idea in writing. Computer help writers to efficiently write, review and check their text for errors, without any interruptions. But it is still difficult task for writers to make decisions like “where this piece of text goes, if not here”, “which word should be use”, “which words should be changed” etc. Because computers cannot think, its writers task to decide whether to keep or remove some text from the document. Computers cannot compose texts for writers. They count decide which information goes where. In short, computer supported writing is the best way to prepare any document.

SAP-1(Simple as Possible-1) Computer Architecture Introduction

The Simple-As-Possible (SAP)-1 computer is a very basic model of a microprocessor explained by Albert Paul Malvino. The SAP-1 design contains the basic necessities for a functional Microprocessor. Its primary purpose is to develop a basic understanding of how a microprocessor works, interacts with memory and other parts of the system like input and output. The instruction set is very limited and is simple. The features in SAP-1 computer are: W bus – A single 8 bit bus for address and data transfer.  16 Bytes memory (RAM)  Registers are accumulator and B-register each of 8 bits.  Program counter – initializes from 0000 to 1111 during program execution.  Memory Address Register (MAR) to store memory addresses.  Adder/ Subtracter for addition and subtraction instructions.  A Control Unit  A Simple Output.  6 machine state reserved for each instruction  The instruction format of SAP-1 Computer is (XXXX) (XXXX) A Simple animation ...
